BEAR WITH KNIFE HAND… BAD IDEA
Acrylic + Ink 11" x 14" 2006 FACING THE FAÇADE PREVIEW NOTES: The inspiration for my "Bad Idea Series" came up when I was watching television recently, (Minoriteam on Adult Swim) and the fact that I used to naively think the idea of having a gun, or a knife for a hand was "RAD", back when I was a kid came up. I coupled that idea with the sad yet sadistic reality of what would probably happen (to my clumsy ass) if I actually had a gun or a knife for a hand. |

I'm amazed...really, you can bust these out very quickly (?) Is that correct? It seems once you have an idea in your head for one of your simplistic, get the idea across quick, animal/primarily bear paintings it's on devart within a day or so. Where did you get your initial idea of these paintings? Been wanting to ask you because I admire them a lot. I'm a thinker as well and try to get a meaning across in my pieces. I hope to be as talented as you in my skills one day.
