A month ago I was invited to participate in a toy customization show for B.B.Birdy [link]
I was given a blank, and was free to do whatever I wanted to do with it. (Like Toy2r's "Qeedraphonic" show) The exhibition show will be held in Chicago (Rotofugi) March 6-April 5/05, L.A (Munkyking) May1-31/05, and Taiwan,Taipei Toys festival (announce after Agust 2004). The gallery event will be displayed in each location for 1 months. The show features tons of amazing artists from around the world, and should be amazing. This is my contribution to the show, and I guess my goal was to transpose the themes I regularly use onto the toy. hope you like it. Luke NOTEL: I've been reading your comments, and I'm under the impresion that some of you have some questions concerning the piece. here's what I can say. They toy itself is NOT my design. It was created by a toy company from Hong Kong called Funny Club. A bunch of different artists were handed blank versions of the toy with instructions to do whatever we wanted to them. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
