A Monkey King 9" x 12" Acrylic + Ink 2005 Painting #2 The Monkey King 8" x 10" Acrylic + Ink 2005 NOTES: Both of these paintings were created for the L. A. based Munky King art/toy store [link] "A Monkey King" was created specifically for "Munkylicious", their one year anniversary art show and celebration. "The Monkey King" was commissioned by the store after the anniversary and uses the Monkey King [link] of chinese folklore as a reference by incorporating the same make up design used in the Monkey King Opera. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces.
