NOTE: THE CONTEST IS OFFICIALLY OVER. THANKS TO ALL WHO PARTICIPATED!
I would like to thank Johnnyjinx [link] for coming up with the winning title. 20" x 24" Acrylic + Ink 2004 THE CONTEST: For the past week, I've been trying to come up with a name for this painting to no avail... It's time for a NAMING CONTEST! RULES & PRIZE Whoever comes up with the best title for this painting will win a signed giclee print of any painting from my gallery of their choice. (except for the 21 monkey's with hats paintings, if you want a print from this series, please specify which monkey you want a print of) For those of you who never heard of a Giclee print, Giclee prints are an art reproduction from a computer printer that has a resolution higher than the traditional lithography print and a color range wider than a serigraph. Unlike desktop ink-jet printers, the Iris uses a sophisticated print head that disperses each ink drop in a micro fine mist of minute droplets to create a smooth, continuous tone print. The contest will end on 11:59 PM PST on Friday, October 1st, 2004, and will be judged by me. Any submissions received after the due date will be disqualified from winning the prize. The winner will be announced by Monday, October 4th. GOOD LUCK, and thanks for participating! sincerely, Luke Chueh |

my title, after much hard thinking and an inablity to think of a good name... "chair depression". mainly because i was thinking that sometimes, on soft chairs, people leave slight dents (or, depressions) in the chair when they get up. and he's on (or part of?) a wheely chair, and looking sad or down. so. "chair depression/s".
none the less. your piece looks wonderful. it's interesting how such strange creations can be so... so... touching?
